The full Prompt Timeline interaction vocabulary.
These apply on the Prompt Timeline while the cursor hovers it. The same tables are available in-app at the bottom of the Settings card.

#Mouse & block editing
| Gesture | Action |
|---|---|
| Left-drag (empty) | Scrub the playhead (works at any height) |
| Left-click near the playhead | Scrubs — the playhead wins over a constraint pin sitting on its line, so a pin at the current frame can't steal the grab |
| Left-click (empty) | Clear the selection (blocks + constraint pins) — a click without dragging; an actual scrub-drag leaves the selection alone |
Ctrl+Left-drag (empty) | Rubber-band select blocks and constraint pins |
| Left-click block | Select block (replaces the whole selection, pins included) |
Ctrl+Left-click block | Add / remove block from selection |
| Left-drag block | Move block(s); hold Shift to disable snapping |
Alt+Left-drag block | Jump past a neighbour — the block snaps into the nearest free gap on the side you drop it |
| Left-drag block edge | Resize; Alt pushes the neighbour, Ctrl scales the pins inside the block with it |
| Left-click constraint icon | Add a constraint at the block midpoint |
| Left-click constraint pin | Select the pin and its viewport marker; Ctrl toggles it in / out of the selection |
| Left-drag constraint pin | Move the constraint in time (grab the pin shape itself) |
| Double-click block | Edit prompt text inline |
| Double-click empty | Create a new block and edit it |
| Middle-drag | Pan the view |
Ctrl+Scroll | Zoom the timeline in / out at the cursor |
| Right-click | Context menu — constraints, prompt actions (edit / regenerate / export / snap) and view fits. See Right-click menu. |
