Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 2026

This policy explains what data Animatica collects when you use animatica.ai, the Animatica web app and our plugins for Blender, Autodesk MotionBuilder and other supported hosts, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Animatica is a product of PANTOMIM P.S.A., ul. Jana Matejki 9/6, 80-252 Gdańsk, Poland (KRS 0001170246, NIP 9571187580). PANTOMIM P.S.A. is the controller of the personal data described below. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@animatica.ai.

2. Data we collect

Account data. The email address and name you give us when you create an account, together with your plan and billing status.

Usage data. How much of the service you use: the number of generations, which plugin and plugin version made the request, the host application, and the technical logs we need to operate the service and debug faults.

Motion inputs. The prompts, poses, and skeleton or rig descriptions you submit to the hosted backbone for a generation, and the motion returned to you. We do not use them to train our models.

If you run the self-hosted backbone, generation happens on your own machine or infrastructure: your scene data is not sent to us.

Contributor waitlist. If you put your name down for the Motion Library, we collect your email address, your name if you choose to give it, and the kind of contribution you tell us you are interested in. That list is held in Loops, the email platform we use as a processor for it.

3. Why we process it

To provide the service, that is generate motion and deliver the result back into your DCC. To meter and bill plan allowances. To send transactional email: account confirmation, receipts, and notices about the service. To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with, and where

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the processors that make the service run: Supabase for authentication and the database, Stripe for payments, Sentry for error and crash reporting, Render for hosting the API, Loops for the contributor waitlist, and Vercel for hosting this site and its cookieless analytics. Each processes data only as far as it needs to in order to provide that service, under its own agreement with us.

Stripe holds your card details, not us: we see the last four digits and the status of a payment, never the card number. Sentry crash reports carry your user id and device metadata, the operating system and the version of the plugin or app, and not your scenes or generated motion.

Several of those providers operate in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rest on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in our agreements with them.

We protect what we hold with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access to production systems restricted to the people who need it. No transmission or storage is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise.

5. Legal basis

Under the GDPR we rely on Article 6(1)(b), performance of the contract between you and us, for running your account, generating motion and metering allowances; Article 6(1)(c) for the accounting and tax records Polish law requires us to keep; and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest, for service security, abuse prevention and improving the product. Marketing email and the contributor waitlist rest on consent, Article 6(1)(a), and you can withdraw that consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any such email, or write to hello@animatica.ai.

“Improving the product” above means engineering and quality work on the service: fixing faults, measuring reliability and deciding what to build next. It does not mean training on your scenes: we do not use your motion inputs to train our models. If that ever changes, it will be opt-in and we will ask you for that consent separately.

6. How long we keep it

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. After you close it, we keep what we must to settle payments and to meet Polish accounting and tax obligations, and delete the rest. Operational and security logs are kept short-term. Motion inputs and their results are kept while you need them in your generation history. A contributor waitlist entry is kept until you withdraw your consent or until we close the list. When you delete your account we remove your personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep to settle payments or to meet Polish accounting and tax obligations. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics carry no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, correct it, export it in a portable form, or have it erased. You may also ask us to restrict or to stop a particular use of it. Write to hello@animatica.ai and we will answer within one month. If you believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Polish supervisory authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without cross-site advertising identifiers. Signing in to the app sets the essential cookies needed to keep you logged in. We set no advertising cookies and run no third-party ad trackers.

9. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to hello@animatica.ai and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update this page and the “last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
